I love snow days. They don’t happen often in Washington State but when they do, I fully embrace the power of snow. I love how it gently slows down the world, muffling the edges of our fast-paced living habit. For those of us who get caught up in the constant wheel of activity, it is easy to think that when the world shuts down there is nothing happening. But stillness is also a key part of living.

Lyrics

Rooted deep getting ready now for sleeping through the snow-white velvet time Leaves gone, fallen long ago April rains a m'memry
one more ring to go, (one more ring to go)
Dew droplets rest like Christmas lights on tips raised to the sky
Birds standing in the frosted breach the time has passed to hide.
Seed to sprout to sapling meek,
Sun and rain my soul to keep on going
A pause was pressed and its effect, a patient waiting a little death, one of many.
Falling is the fact. Wintertime is another pact of living
Soil creeks as the maze of sky drops creeping comes to a stop
There's memory in water
Leaves gone , fallen long ago
September burst of fire, a memory to go ( a memory to go) Sun south of east forgets itself the raven lifts and cries Buds peeking they forget themselves
The time for growth stands by
Chorus
