celebrating this spanky new decade that I plum forgot to check in with
So first things first, may you have a fabulous new year. You know the kind that I am talking about?
The kind of new year that breaths into you new life, new ideas and new solutions. The kind of new year where you wake up a little giddy with the potential of the day. Sashay into a new year in which you slay all the dark clouds of life with a realization or a solution so bright that you forget that there was even a problem. May you have a year that is filled with folks who love you oodles and over the moon, May you have vibrant health and prosperity—a cornucopia filled with the things that make life delicious. May we all have a little teaspoon of such wonderful flavor.
Oh, my first concert of the year was seeing Ms. Mavis Staples at the Washington Center for the Arts. She was marvelous! She has two more shows in Washington before she flits off to Arizona. Here is her schedule.
