LaVon’s deep theater and musical theater experience includes the eponymous monarch in Shakespeare’s Richard II (recast as Regina II) at Shakespeare in the Parking Lot, Tacoma WA; Esther Mills in Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel at Harlequin Productions in Olympia WA;  and a principle in the Fats Waller musical review Ain’t Misbehavin’ by Centerstage / Knutzen Family Theater in Federal Way, WA. August 2011 marked the end of a successful run of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s   Jesus Christ Superstar at Village Theatre in Issaquah.
