Spring Artswalk 2014

When spring comes to Olympia, the croci crow, the tulips smooch and the bees get their hair done…they wear beehives of course! But seriously, Olympia Arts Walk brings beauty of all ilk to the street, the coffee house and The Art House!
Friday  April 24th 6pm-9:30 I will be joining The Steve Bentley Quartet for an evening of jazz and more!  That “more” of which I am speaking is a little Motown and blues thrown into the music pot! The Steve Bentley Quartet is Mr. Bentley on drums, David Joyner tickling the ivories, Rick Jarvala on bass and Phil Lawson on guitar.  Art House is at 420 Franklin Street, Olympia. It’s free!
I hope to see you, it will be a fun evening as well as beautiful artwork to enjoy.
After the glitter of ArtsWalk, (there will be a lot of glitter to clean up!), I will be joining the lovely Jessica Blinn, vocalist and fiddler extraordinaire, guitarist and composer Daven Tillinghast and the always dapper and swingin’ Vince Brown at Rhythm and Rye.
We call ourselves Two Pairs. What can I say? Come! Resistance is futile! The show is Monday, 8pm @Rhythm & Rye, 311 Capitol Way N, Olympia. $5 at the door.
Come on down, the water is fine!
Be well and be fabulous!
